The Crew Installs a Roof on My Home (I’m the Production Manager)

Our home was built in the early 2000s and still has solid decking and flashing. We wanted a shingle that paired well with the existing exterior features, and we went with Owens Corning Duration Designer Series shingles in Aged Copper. My wife and I still love that the color pops. Six years later, in 2025, those shingles look just as good as the day we installed them. Since then, we’ve had smaller hail storms roll through Elk River, and these shingles have held up like champs—no dents, no damage, just reliable protection.

The installation was a breeze due to the solid roofing foundation. The good decking allowed the shingles laid down flat and smooth, and the existing flashing kept everything watertight. We ripped off the old roof, prepped the surface, and had the new roof installed the same day.
