Massive 3-Wide Patio Door Installation

Problem

The homeowner reached out, stating that the patio door was leaking cold air so bad her furnace was having a hard time keeping up. That and the normal wear and tear of daily usage made this patio door need to be replaced. We were able to help!

Solution

We ordered a ThermoTech Patio door that was over 9 feet wide! These patio doors are large and very heavy. We were able to remove the old one in pieces, but the NEW one we kept together. 

Houses with vinyl siding require a little more depth to the installation. We had to remove the vinyl siding to allow the patio door to be installed and taped. Once the door is installed, we carefully reinstall the vinyl. It looks great, and the homeowner noticed a difference right away!

Result

The homeowner was very happy with the outcome. There was a cold snap soon after the patio door was installed, and she loved how warm her house was! These patio doors are great for areas such as living rooms and dining rooms with access to a deck or patio. Lots of light to come in with the view!
