We recently completed a re-roofing project for a single-story home in Brooklyn Park, MN, using Atlas Pinnacle Pristine shingles in Weathered Wood color. The walkable pitch of the roof made it a pleasure to work on, and it made installation efficient and safe for our crew. The homeowners were excited about the weatherproofing and the fresh, updated look the shingles would bring to their property. The natural tone of Weathered Wood complimented the home’s exterior.
During tear-off, we discovered a few areas of rotted decking that needed replacement to ensure the roof’s structural integrity. During the decking replacement, we ensured the attic shoots were properly installed to make the attic system vent properly.
Finally, with the amount of tree coverage in the area, the 3M Scotchgard protection will be useful for algae resistance in the home (as homes near trees tend to have algae issues). Overall, this project was a great success, and the homeowners were delighted with their sturdy, aesthetically pleasing new roof.
