Lifetime Labor Warranty
The Kingdom Builders provides a lifetime labor warranty on roofing installations. If our installers make a mistake, we will fix it. Typically, if there is an install issue, it shows up fairly quickly. (It’s rare that we encounter any issues.)
Shingle Roofing
It’s more than just putting shingles on your roof.
New shingles are only one part of a new roofing system. There’s also underlayment, flashing, and ventilation too. If any of these steps are done improperly, you could end up with leaks, condensation, and the life of your roof being compromised. When we are looking into replacing your roof, we look at many aspects of your roof system. If there is anything we need to adjust to increase ventilation we will adjust it. Our Preferred Shingles
Atlas provides a different option for our customers. They offer a few unique benefits over other shingle brands. Here in Minnesota, we have homes that are surrounded by trees. One of the issues with this is algae build-up on your shingles. This stains the shingle and causes black streaking. Atlas shingles have the most copper infused into their shingles to help fight that algae staining. They're the only shingled backed by Scotchgard.
Some of the other differences are more for the installers. They have made it easy for installers to properly fasten the shingles to the roof. The shingles themselves are a little larger than the other companies.
As well as Atlas shingles, we also use their high-quality synthetic underlayment, ice and water barriers, and shingle starting products. When paired together, all products are covered under the Atlas lifetime warranty.
Owens Corning shingles are a high-quality, lifetime shingle made right here in Minnesota. We have personally toured their factory and seen the care and quality control that goes into making the shingles. They have a wide variety of classic shingles colors, as well as a Designers Series, with trendy colors and bold styles.
As well as Owens Corning shingles, we also use their high-quality synthetic underlayment, ice and water barriers, and shingle starting products. When paired together, all products are covered under Owens Corning's lifetime warranty.
Owen Corning Duration is the series line we use the most. They are the only ones that have the Surenail strip for added wind protection and easier installation. The Surenail strip also helps keep the roofing nail from going too far into the shingle.
