The Kingdom Builders team assisted a church in Hopkins, MN by clearing snow and removing ice dams from the roof. Snow and ice had accumulated on the roof, which poses a large risk for roofing systems (especially on buildings with large roof areas). Our team shoveled the snow off the roof to prevent further ice formation. This also stopped the leaks from melted snow under the shingles.
We used a low-pressure hot steam machine, which is our go-to solution for safely removing ice without damaging the shingles. The hot steam efficiently cuts through the ice. This process was necessary to eliminate both the immediate issues caused by ice dams and protect the church from more expensive, long-term damage.
